Kristen started riding at three years of age and by fifteen was breaking and training horses. A keen eye for a horse and a passion for riding has given Kristen a feel, first expressed in training and now through brush on canvas. She desires to capture the beauty, grace and personality of our loyal friends in her paintings.

Kristen uses her knowledge of the equine form and characteristics in combination with photos to achieve life like realism. Because every horse is an individual, Kristen likes to discuss with clients their horses personality before beginning a commission.
